I've been Scammed
On March 28th 2025 at 11:30AM PT, I had an appointment at the 1134 Crenshaw Blvd, Inglewood, CA (Crenshaw and Imperial) Chase Bank with Alex Centenero. I went in to add my 2 daughters and my son as beneficiaries to all my accounts with Chase. On that same day, my son (who lives in Orange County and who wasn’t with me) received an alert from Chase about his personal account information was changed. He immediately called Chase because he didn’t change any of his information. The Chase representative informed him that someone at the Chase bank on Crenshaw and Imperial (which was the same Chase I was at) changed his information on his account. I don’t have access to my sons account, nor did I inform the banker to do anything with my son’s account. Luckily my son acted swiftly and was able to change his information back to where it was before. On April 9th, I received a text message from Chase asking if I made a CVS purchase for 244.85, I replied with “No”. Seconds later, I received a call from a Chase (So-called) Banker that said that my account has been compromised and that I need to go to the “Crenshaw & Imperial” Chase Bank to withdraw $20,000.00. I proceeded to take the 20k out of my account, the moment the cash was withdrawn from my account, I received a call from the Chase (so-called) Banker stating that I needed to go to the Chase on Century to withdraw another $10,000. He then gave me a new Chase account through my apple wallet stating that he started a new safe account for me to deposit the $30,000. He walked me through how to deposit the complete 30,000 at the Chase ATM on Century. I informed my daughter of what was going on after this was done and she told me to call Chase Fraud immediately. Chase was able to recover 17,000 of the 30,000 amount because the scammer (aka so-called Chase Banker) spent 13k of the money. I’m a victim of what I learn to be an Imposter Scam that they do to elderly people. However, it all started when I walked into the Chase Bank on Crenshaw & Imperial. PLEASE BE VERY AWARE WITH YOUR PERSONAL DEALINGS WITH THIS BANK.
